Newsnow Desk: Senior Secretary to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Akram Al-Hossain said no decision has been taken over reopening schools as a suitable situation is yet to be created.

However, the teachers and officials concerned have been instructed to take necessary preparation in compliance with the reopening guidelines once the favorable situation is created.

He made the remark while talking to reporters at the secretariat on Wednesday.

Akram also said the situation is gaining normalcy and the favorable environment is being created to reopen the schools.

“We’ve informed the headmasters about the guidelines to follow those before reopening the schools,” he added.

Safety measures, including cleanliness, washing hands, wearing masks, maintaining social distancing and others, are among the guidelines.

Besides, the schools with higher number of students have to follow the shifting method, added Akram.
