Newsnow Desk: The 76th Session of the UN General Assembly is scheduled to start in September. The General Assembly will be held in person this year as the pandemic situation becomes comparably normal.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will leave Dhaka for New York to join the two-week-long session.
Foreign Minister AK Momen revealed the information while briefing reporters at state guest house Padma on Monday (August 2).
He said the assembly will be started on September 14 with smaller-than-normal delegations because of the pandemic. World leaders will start providing speeches from September 21.
The General Debate will commence on September 22 and run through September 29.
