NewsNow Desk: Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader was taken to a hospital in the capital after he complained of chest pain.
Quader, also general secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, was taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMU) on Tuesday.
Professor Dr Md Sharfuddin Ahmed, vice chancellor of the hospital, confirmed the matter.
Earlier, he was admitted to BSMMU initially on March 2, 2019, following breathing complications.
Later on March 4, the minister had been flown to Singapore on an air ambulance for advanced treatment.
The minister underwent a bypass surgery there on March 20.
Later, he returned home on May 15 after receiving treatment in Singapore for over two months.
