Staff Correspondent: The visit of Chinese Defense Minister and State Councilor Wei Feng to Dhaka has created a smog. The Kathmandu Post of Nepal reported on Sunday that Feng is coming to Bangladesh on a surprise visit after his visit to Nepal. However, Bangladesh’s daily newspaper Bangladesh Pratidin is reporting that he is not coming to Dhaka.

However, the two newspapers did not name any source in this regard. Even the Chinese embassy in Dhaka has not officially commented on this matter.

Earlier, an online report in the Kathmandu Post reported that, The Chinese defense minister is currently in Nepal on a one-day surprise visit. In addition to a meeting with Nepal’s Prime Minister and Defense Minister KP Sharma Oli on that day, he is also scheduled to pay a courtesy call on the country’s President Vidya Devi. After visiting Nepal, he will visit Bangladesh and Pakistan.

And Bangladesh Pratidin is called in the report, Chinese Defense Minister and State Councilor Wei Feng is not coming to Dhaka. Has postponed his surprise visit. However, no reason was given as to why the Chinese defense minister’s visit was canceled.
