The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has paid homage to the martyrs of the Great Liberation War at the National Memorial in Savar.
On Friday morning, Narendra Modi paid homage at the memorial. He observed a minute’s silence in honor of the memory of the martyrs. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Dhaka on Friday on a two-day visit to attend the Golden Jubilee of Independence and Mujib Year celebrations.
When Indian Prime Minister Hazrat Shahjalal arrived at the international airport on Friday morning, he was welcomed by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Modi was given a red carpet reception at the airport. At the same time, 21 cannon shots and a guard of honor were given in his honor. The two Prime Ministers exchanged greetings at the airport.
After paying homage at Savar National Memorial, he will pay homage to the portrait of Father of the Nation at Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Museum at No. 32, Dhanmondi. Modi will attend the National Parade Square in the afternoon.
Narendra Modi will leave Dhaka on Saturday.
